This life, it’s not about me
and yet daily I make it about me, putting my Lord on the back burner, still
present, but not center. I need to remind myself throughout this day “it’s not
about me.” How can I honor and worship my God in the midst of today’s
challenges? How can I give Him the glory and the place where He belongs… where
it’s ALL about Him? How do I change my perspective from a kingdom of me to the
kingdom of God? In the answer to these questions lies obedience to the very
first command: “have no other gods.” I want to live here, where there are no
other gods, where GOD is front and center, the ONE TRUE GOD, and it’s ALL about
Him.
